An open window. Daffodils, perhaps. The heavy, tired old winter coat left on a hook. Remember not having to put on socks? Remember air-conditioning? It’s spring, and spring is the Friday of seasons. You can hear the heavy footsteps of winter plodding over to the other side of the hemisphere (too bad for them). But let’s not to get too excited. ‘Tis the season of unavoidable clothing errors. First too hot, then, too cold. The excess of layers when you don’t need them and a wilderness of bare skin when you do. Hurry up, summer, so we can finally complain about the heat.
Aplós Calme
2 oz.
Fresh lemon juice
1/2 oz.
Honey syrup
1/2 oz
Sakura cherry blossom tea, steeped
2 oz.
Place honey, Aplós, lemon, and tea in a shaker with 2 ice cubes. Shake and strain into a tall glass with fresh ice. Garnish with Cherry blossoms and lemon twists. For the Sakura Cherry Blossom Tea: Make a strong brewed tea 2 bags in 8 oz of water. Chill before mixing.
